WHAT IS THE WEDDING DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION?
The wedding ceremony will commence at 4:15 on May 16th, 2026 at the Callawassie Island Country Club located at 22 Callawassie Club Dr, Okatie, SC 29909. Please arrive by 3:45 pm to allow time to park and get seated prior to the start of the ceremony.
HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE AND IS THERE PARKING?
Our venue is located in 22 Callawassie Club Dr, Okatie, SC 29909 in a gated community. If you have RSVPed, your name will be added to a guest list at the gate. Please use the guest entrance and have your driver’s license on hand to show to the guard. Once you are through the gate, please drive straight for 1.5 miles until you reach a sign on your left that says “Callawassie Island” and turn onto this road. This will bring you to the front of the clubhouse. Here there is a round about where you may be dropped off, or parking to the left and right of the building.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Our ceremony will take place at 4:15 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time to park and be seated. Otherwise, you will not be allowed in until after the procession of the wedding party has concluded. The reception is to follow until 10 pm.
HOW DO I RSVP, AND WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
We are so excited for you to be a part of our special day! We are still finalizing some small details, so RSVPs are not open at this time. Once you receive your invitation, we request that you RSVP via the website to let us know you will be in attendance.
WHERE TO STAY?
The Hilton Garden Inn at 1575 Fording Island Road, Hilton Head Island, SC, 29926 has graciously provided a discounted rate for our guests. Please go to THIS LINK to see more information on the hotel block.
CLOSEST AIRPORT?
The closest airport to the venue is Hilton Island Airport and Savannah International Airport, which are both about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Charleston Internation Airport is an additional alternative but is 90 minutes to 2 hours from the venue and local hotels.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We humbly request that guest adhere to black tie formal attire. Please refer to the guest attire section of the website FOUND HERE for examples of both men and women. The only color we ask you refrain from wearing white as that is reserved for the bride.
MAY I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we respectfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation and RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!
IS IT OKAY TO TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
The bride and groom request the joyful sight of your smiles without the distraction of electronic devices, so please turn off all phones and cameras and enjoy this special moment with us. We also kindly request that no photos are posted to social media until we post our first pictures as Mr. and Mrs. We promise to share all of the beautiful memories captured by our photographer from the special day so please be on the lookout!
